2. Again it's often said to avoid drug capital states. Another dumb statement! Why? Any type of addict will move mountains to obtain they're next fix, no matter what state they are in. Have you ever heard someone say "I can sell ice to an Eskimo"? See what I mean, they even found a way to get drugs into Alaska. So instead of moving mountains for your next fix, move mountains to block the "evil in plain site" bullshit the government knowingly implemented.

3. Again it's often said to avoid a relationship for the 1st year of sobriety. Again another stupid sobriety suggestion. Why? Relationships come in so many damn forms, that usually end up evolving in one way or another. It simply can't be helped. So get out there and make friends and fuck as often as possible. Let's face it, if none of us fucked for one year upon getting sober, this world would have ended centuries ago. This is an area of sobriety that you don't need to #JUSTSAY NO IN.
MAKE FRIENDS
4. Finding sober events is helpful. However it's not a cure all to relapse. Sometimes people watching others that you use to be like is more comical and a friendly reminder of what you don't want to go back to. So keep enjoying the same venues and establishments that suit your fancy.
5. Last but not least! There actually is no #5. There's a kinda famous quote my love often uses! "Live the life you love, and love the life you live". Stop following rules and live in the pursuit of happiness and sobriety truly will come naturally. After all I'm kinda living proof that with the right amount of will power, all things can be accomplished!
